RE: Tournament rules
Hi ! And great news, holding a tournament at home, that's a sweet idea !
So here are some advices : 1) How long are the rounds? One hour and half, top, is enough even for the slower players. But that is if everyone knows the rules well. If not, you could make it a bit longer, but my main advice would be to supervise the first preparation phase : as the referee, you should tell everyone what to do and explain each step. It is sometime the hardest phase to grasp completely the first time. Do it together once and it should be good. 2) Sideboards? Are they used? And if so, how big? I'm not sure, what do you mean by 'sideboards' ? 3) NPFs? No NPF unless someone plays the Sacred hunt. At least not for the first tournament ![]() 4) Tournament points? Wins worth three points, draw worth one point and zero if you lose. The difference of VP is added at the end of each game and the result is used at the end to distinguish ties for any places. 5) Also, do you use the weather table? No weather, you could also forbid the use of the related TC to avoid problems. And finally, a) no changes of fighters and/or team during the tournament, same 100 points for all games ; b) players cannot play the same Mission card twice during the tournament, they must play four different missions (during a four games tournament, of course). And you're ready ![]() ![]() |
